Hovione Technology innovative device 8Shot™ Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) enabling high dose drug delivery to the lungs has received the Red Dot Product Design Award 2020 in the Healthcare Daily Living AIDS category.
The Red Dot Design Award is an internationally recognized quality seal awarded for innovative and high-quality product design.

8Shot™ is the world’s first 8-doses, factory filled dry powder inhaler device enabling effective and safe drug delivery to the lungs that offer the highest dose delivery capability at easiest use and convenience to the patient.
With 8 pre-filled doses, the patient just turns a dose wheel to access the next dose, providing a friendly solution for daily dose delivery without the burden of instructing the patient to reload a device multiple times with a capsule or blister leading to a long, time-consuming, error-prone use sequence.
The dose wheels provide visual feedback to the patient that the inhalation manoeuvre has been successfully delivered.
There is currently no other device in the world today making available a dry powder inhaler technology capable of enabling fast and safe of up to 400mg of a pharmaceutical compound to the lung by inhalation. 8Shot™ is truly unique and innovative and meets the needs of pharmaceutical companies developing new drugs.
8Shot™ is manufactured from only two injection parts that make this device a unique and economically viable innovation from acute to long term high dose inhaled delivery treatment.

RHINO
Road Barrier System
iF PRODUCT DESIGN AWARD 2019
RHINO is a durable, portable and temporary road barrier system made of EVA and produced by blow molding technology. Will be launched worldwide in the first quarter of 2020 and the development and manufacture team expects to find significant success with this new and innovative market solution and became a contributor to road safety and work zone barrier protection, reducing crash incidents.
This water filled road barrier system is a smart solution that’s easy to install and transport. Compared to the majority of its competitors, RHINO has increased the logistic capacity of a euro pallet by more than 50%.
Their design makes the barrier very easy to stack and store. Also, it has security locators for safe use of forklifts and a handle to facilitate the displacement, unloading and re-location.
RHINO currently has a provisional patent application process related to the field of traffic signaling and road barrier systems, such as road type, alignment of traffic lanes and barriers of particular areas in a traffic lane, comprising a plurality of modules, in particular in the form of signaling blocks, and similar devices.
This invention further relates to a method of manipulating said signaling and barrier system.

It is an innovative bi-material cover solution, with a 100% leak-proof seal. Thanks to the single-dose container within the cover, it is possible to carry a protein dose and mix it just before use.
Through the combination of shape, materials and user interaction, this shaker is extremely practical to use and adapted to sports consumer trends.

Time is a compact espresso coffee machine, simple to use, intuitive and funny.
Thanks to the technology of the timer system, this equipment offers a unique and innovative solution to the market by making it possible to customize the coffee volume without using any electronics. It is also possible to choose a manual mode. This technology is patent pending.
This is the first and only espresso coffee machine that works with only one button. This solution changes the espresso coffee machine paradigm and brings a simpler, easier and long-life interface to the market.
The lever was developed to avoid extra force and the capsule window has an anti-error design, which means the user will never add the capsule incorrectly.
The water tank enables direct filling or taking off and filling the tank out of the machine.
The cup tray has two possible positions and ensures the optimization between the extraction nozzle and the espresso cup of around 70 mm in order to reach a perfect espresso. The lower position enables the use of long cups or glass.
The power cord is hidden and stored under the machine and allows the user to unroll part of it according to the needs.
It is TIME for a perfect espresso!
